About

I am a Nebraska native with a background in design- I've always wanted to weave art into the everyday. I started my business out of a desire to paint on unusual surfaces, and decided to try my hand at painted clay jewelry. My business has grown in the four years I've been creating, however, I'm still a one woman show, and really like it that way!

I hope buyers feel a connection with the piece as well as the maker. We're so detached from what we purchase, and I would love people to reconnect with the process behind creating what we wear. I hope customers also see a reflection of the Original Creator in what I make, from tiny real flowers to paintings of a corn field.

I've always been fascinated at traditionally "women's work", and love to incorporate dried florals and embroidery into my work. With a background in fashion design as well as being a seamstress, I see how undervalued yet essential much of traditionally feminine work is, and I love to showcase it in the medium of jewelry. Additionally, my faith is a big part of my passion to create- to appreciate the small details of our created world, and hopefully bring a little more beauty and hope into my corner of the world.
